Where to place Thanksgiving florals

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It’s the only holiday that isn’t focused on gifts. It’s the holiday meant for gathering. For connecting. For catching up. For reflecting. Every year we think of new designs to incorporate into our Thanksgiving lineup. We think that flowers set the stage for any gathering. With Thanksgiving being the one holiday a year where the focus is solely on connection, the elements to this gathering are important. Creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere can change how your guests interact with one another. Here are a few ideas on what floral arrangements to select and where to place them for the biggest impact.

The grand garden arrangement

Wanting to make a statement as soon as guests arrive? Place our Grand Garden Arrangement on the entry table. Its height makes it a statement piece, leaving guests asking “Where did you get these flowers from?”.

The long and low

Our long & lows are great for long table gatherings. They are stunning in their size and design. Height is key here. You want guests to be able to see each other while conversing. Spaces that get less attention but are as equally deserving of flowers include the kitchen & bathrooms. Yes, the prep is happening in the kitchen. Yes, it’s packed. But isn’t that where lots of us are spending our time. And then we know the guests follow into the kitchen with their drinks in hand to see if the host needs help. We suggest adding a small touch of flowers with our mini garden arrangement. It’s the perfect size for a kitchen sink window or kitchen island. Try adding one or three of our bud vases to the guest bathroom. Placing them on the top of the toilet, sink, and windowsill to adds an unexpected touch of elegance.

Does Halloween call for flowers? Absolutely! When our buyer brought these roses to our attention we knew we had to get them for you. Our incredible Black Magic Roses are more stunning in person. They have an almost velvet touch. They are versatile in that you can make them spooky, cute, or sophisticated depending on how you choose to style them.

Wedding week gifts

Fall is the new wedding season. For the past 5 years we’ve seen an uptick in nuptials taking place in September and October. And it makes sense. St. Louis is a city of seasons with fall being a spectacular one.

With more bride to be’s, we’ve noticed some trends. Our favorite trend is sending the bride to be congratulation flowers during her wedding week. Our top picks for this included our congrats box, any of our garden arrangements, and seasonal bouquets.
